Ni Hao! I have finally managed to sit down and update. These creations were done before the fairy outfit, but Lisa was doing an amazing job beautifying them so we can post them with pride:) The inspiration behind these dresses are very simple actually. Pinterest is a close buddy of mine, and she and her friend Doll-it-up.com did a wonderful article on how to make dresses out of girls skirts. Then all that came next was a little bit of material inspiration in the form of this amazing material I got from Michaels across from the Springfield doll collection that holds its form awesomely. So without further ado, Here are the dresses! First up is a gorgeous dress made by none other than Lisa! This dress features a halter style top with intricate embroidery, and a full shimmery silver skirt that falls in elegant waves. Shoes are still in the process of being made, but this dress will look particularly good with blonde, brown, and black hair.
Next is the dress I made, featuring a sweetheart neckline sparkly bodice type top, with a full flowing skirt with adorable little purple rosettes at the edges of the skirt. Both this dress and the first is floor length. This dress includes a shawl, gloves, and will include a bag and shoes which are still in the development process as I want them to be able to stand up to playtime. So! What do you all think? Thank you for all of your support thus far! ~Nica
